Testimonials

My son attended camp at the Derek Marinatos Soccer Academy for the first time this summer (2014). We live in Idaho and consequently, he has participated in many soccer camps in the states of Oregon, Utah, and Idaho over the last few years. His experience at the Derek Marinatos Soccer Academy was one of his best. Not only did he enjoy himself but he got an opportunity to learn new strategies, forms of play and time to practice and refine his technical skills. As a parent, I found this camp to be very well organized and the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable, and committed to providing a one of a kind learning opportunity for our soccer players. I would highly recommend this camp and we plan on coming back again next year.

The camp was very well organized and it was obvious that a lot of work went into the details. My granddaughters, 9-year-old twins Erin and Reagan from Northern Virginia, loved being at the co-ed session July 28-Aug. 1. Every morning they were excited to be on their way. When they would tell me their favorite parts of the day, their voices were full of excitement, as they told me about the fun of learning new moves or perfecting their skills with Diogo and Megan. And when they scored goals, they were thrilled. They loved meeting new friends, especially the 11- and 12-year-old girls who were so nice to them. Good job, everyone!

We love DMSA. Our son has not only learned a lot, he has had a blast. On DMSA mornings, he hops out of bed eager to get to camp — I’ve even found him completely dressed and ready to go when I went to wake him up. This year, he has particularly enjoyed the “World Cup” and “Power Finesse" games and Coach Jay. We love the good influences that Jay, his teammates and Coach Derek are for our young athlete. And Britt keeps the administrative side running smoothly with great organization, communication and responsiveness. We are so glad we found DMSA and will be back again and again.

We could not be more thrilled with the program provided at the Derek Marinatos Soccer Academy. Our boys participate in four different soccer camps each summer, and they continue to say that DMSA is the most technical and by far their favorite. We actually build our summer vacation plans around the DMSA camp each year! Thanks, Derek and Britt, for your commitment to our children and for continuing to foster their love of the game. See you this summer!
